Evidently something to do with Star Wars, but that's not my forte, so try googling yourself!
There were no number one singles from Star Wars related tracks or artists, so I think it 'll be something different- unless it was Can You Feel the Force by Real Thing
^ but that wasn't a follow-up to a number one single, so forget that
Frankie goes to Hollywood's "Slave to the Rhythm" had a working title of "Masters of the force".
That'll be it, Graham. It was recorded to be released after Relax but I don't think it got past the demo stage. Grace Jones then recorded it
Great link FF
Thanks drpop.
I always liked FGTH but it wasn't until a few years after the first album that I realised that Trevor Horn was the reason for their great sound.

thank you all

Had heard a bit of frankie before they were signed and indeed there Tube appearance is very "tinny". So when Relax came out it was quite a surprise to hear such a big sound. Of course it only got bigger!!such a fantastic first album and such a poor second(different producer!!).
Redhand- sorry for hijacking your thread
OMG I put there instead of their :(

Is ok doc.Still don't know who replaced Marilyn with Barbara in 1984.
Perhaps it references a song or something to do with Band aid .
Hi drpop- yes I remember hearing Relax and Two Tribes in a session on Radio 1- they sounded okay but were very pedestrian, but the eventual singles were excellent and I played the first double album for hours on end. Their version of Born to Run sounds as good as Springsteen's to me and Ferry is as close as you can get to Gerry's version.
I quite liked the second album too but it clearly missed Trevor Horn's touch and it was no suprise that they faded away
>Still don't know who replaced Marilyn with Barbara in 1984.

This sounds familar- I'll have a think
