page marker?
book mark?

bookmark or ribbon bookmark. But I see your point about ones actually attached to the book, I don't know if there's a separate word for those.
Another generally accepted term is as Tilly says, but all one word, i.e. 'pagemarker'.

I was hoping there would be a fancy Sunday name for that wee bit of ribbon.
Nothing stopping you from inventing one! Let us know, and maybe we'll all start using it. ;-)
Bookbinder might know
ribbon
I used to work for a firm that produced diaries (among other things), and we always called them ribbon bookmarks.

Yes, Scrivens, a satinette might be OK, but it doesn't really describe what it does. I suppose it doesn't really matter what the ribbon bookmarks are called, as long as all concerned know what is meant. 'Ribbon bookmarks' worked OK for us, at the diary printers. We used to attach them by hand, but then we got a machine to do the job.

Might I suggest that it be called a 'bound marker' seeing as it seems to be part of the binding and it is a bookmark?
