Three links were discovered in the first minute of play.
roslyn251254 was first with TROPHY WIFE, followed within two minutes by Strix, middlestump, seekeerz, Christiana, rockfordill & ulysses100 for 2 points each
Strix then performed a VICTORY ROLL in formation with cupid04, ulysses100 & kawakiri for their two points.
Tearinghair and Christiana then collected 2 points for being CROWD PLEASERs
The final link proved really stubborn and wasn't discovered until Kettledrum came along 12 hours later with STIRRUP CUP (Where were you Strix?)
The hotshot was difficult to award this weekend with no fewer than SIX double-hitters, three of them on full points. Excuse me if you think I am taking the coward's way out but I am going to award it instead to the discoverer of that most elusive link.

With regard to my comments last weekend about the rules: There were no strong feelings expressed and so I shall continue as at present and advise setters to avoid people as answers. You should therefore avoid them as suggestions.
