Ive been looking for another word for clog meaning shoe, but now im wondering if the word we need is another word for clog=blocked/as in blockage.
Wooden/clog, some type of overcheck?
wooden/clog. Could it be some kind of fur? When pipes get clogged they fur up. I keep thinking 'faux fur' but I'm not convinced it's right.
Thanks Knittynora. I keep wondering if its something block.. Im still hunting!
Thanks Grimaldi for your suggestion.x
For the one you all seem to be stuck on, the wooden clog one, I suggest that it might be pattern.

The definition for wooden clog in the dictionary is patten (with no "r", but it could be a "sound alike".
