Surely This Is This A Scam

this morning i recieved a e mail from catwoman 99 saying she was in greece and had had her personal items along with money stolen and is asking people to send her money . i just wondered if anyone else has also recieved this e mail

I got a similar e-mail a few weeks ago. It was supposed to be from a friend who'd been robber at the airport in Lagos.
I'd seen that friend in the local papershop just a few hours earlier.

dont worry no money will be coming from this quarters i just wondered if others who had put there e mail address on there return quiz had also recieved it

I also received this e-mail as I sent for her quiz I just deleted it!!

Yes I got the email too, the AB member is Ouzel and it looks like her email account has been hijacked somehow.

It is a scam. Happened to me a while back and I posted it on here. Scam scam scam. Asks you to send money by Western Union. Ignore. Her email has been hijacked and this will have been sent to everyone in her address book.

Have only just logged in and seen this post. I'm definitely not in Greece and have certainly not sent any e-mails asking for money.

Neither can I log into my catwoman99 e-mail account. I don't know what's happened here but can only apologise to anyone who has received this communication.

I also received this email from catwoman99. I opened it because I recognised the name and have dealt with her before, but as soon as I read it I felt it was dodgy. I reported it to Hotmail and deleted it, but didn't know whether to email Pauline to let her know what was happening or not. Glad she has seen this thread, and will now know what's been happening.

i had an email this morning from catwoman 99 to say her account had been hacked and is letting everyone know her new email address
