A friend has messaged me a video, saying I was in it. When I went to play it, had to enter my Facebook details etc. You can’t see who is in the video, only the top of someone’s head. I have replied to my friend asking if she sent it, but had no reply. This is really weird, surely it is a new kind of scam t get my details?

Sounds like your friend's been hacked and by clicking on it and entering your details probably you have now too. Change your password.

Friend just put on that she has been hacked!
I don't do FB. I sometimes get emails purporting to be from a pal in my contacts list that just contain a link - nothing else. He didn't send them so I just delete them. I'm sure someone has hacked his email account.
have you let him know, davebro? People can't usually tell if they've been hacked until a contact tells them.
Yes I told him.

If you put a fake email address in your contacts list then if you get hacked & emails are sent to that address they will be bounced back to you, so you'll know summat's up.
I nearly got caught by this last week. Fortunately my antivirus thingy warned me before I got too far.
good tip, davebro
I've had two of these which I delete immediately
I don't think they have been hacked - I think they get the same message and just forward to all their friends without thinking.
If you clicked on that link and input your details, the chances are, your account will soon be compromised, so you need to change your password as soon as possible.
I've just received one today .... was yours something like this:
A friend messages you saying you're in a video and there's a link to click. You click on the link and it asks you to log into Facebook. After this, I don't know what happens because the website is a fake website .... if you input your log-in details, you've just given them to a hacker .... so ...... change your Facebook password as soon as possible !!!!
