if you walk your dog in the snow and you walk on the grit that your council has put down, wash you dog's paws when you get home. The grit has antifreeze mixed with it and if your dog licks its paws it could prove fatal.
Better to be safe than sorry.

your welcome anne, I have one dog thats loves snow and t'other wont go over the doorstop.
We have no snow here but I'll put it on FB as a warning for friends who have snow and dogs.

where are you anne ? we are in snowy Essex.
I'm on the north coast of NI, overlooking the Atlantic. Great views and a beach very close.
I have passed your warning on via FB and by phone to people I know who don't bother with it.
Thanks again.
PS Dee
The big brave Dobermann refuses to put his nose out of the door if there's any rain.
