What have you bought for others?

I've bought my Mum a big box of Lancome goodies, some Swarovski Martini glasses, a Julien MacDonald cardigan and some bottles of this and that. I've bought my Dad some Harvey Nicks Port and Pear and Cardomom Chutney.

Alfie has a doggy stocking and a good friend has a Braun Series 3 Shaver.

We only buy for the kids (and they've got loads). I think I will get my dad and his lady friend a voucher for a meal out (don't know when I will be seeing him).

I really wish I had kids :(
NoM, don't give up hope. I don't know how old you are but I didn't have the first till I was 31 and then was nearly 38 on the things, xxx
Not much...

We got Ginge's mum a lovely picture frame. It's really really nice. Got his Dad a bottle of Jamesons....

That's it....everyone else has money. (they also have money)

I'm 36 in a few weeks, Sherr.

Ummmm, tell M I'll buy him a belated Xmas whisky next time I see him.
Mum and dad have a laptop from me and my 2 brothers, they have a new printer from the kids (I could never pay, financially, what my parents are worth, there's not enough money in the world). OH has a pair of trousers, kids have hard drive, electronic keyboard, new dressing gowns and lots of other stuff to open.

Really hope I get my Clarins Eau Dynamisante!
My OH and I only exchange a couple of presents each then buy for the rest of the family.
I've bought her a Kindle and case, and a mug with a photo of our two grandchildren printed on it.
She knows about the Kindle and case.
For others we've bought some of those things women throw over their shoulders, can't think of the word, they're like shawls, smellies, hair curlers, toys, and we've paid towards a laptop for our older granddaughter.
(Thinking about it, I think they ARE shawls).
Mum, bath smellies, Brother & Sister In Law voucher for local Curry Take Away (they're cooking dinner), Niece & Nephew money and Daughter Patchwork Quilt, Merlin poster, Chocolate make up set! and money, not to mention the printer and ice cream maker in the last 2 weeks (Loreal: she's woth it!)

Oh & ex wife - perfume, not planned but I saw it when I was out & remembered it was her favourite!!?? not sure it was a good idea but.......?

I could do with a new dressing gown, Rocky. May look in the sales.
NoM - I've for one you can have. Himself's friend buys me one every year (or so it seems). It's M & S, fluffy, white, with big coloured spots on it. I don't do dressing gowns. (Already given one to my friend.)
I bought OH £200 worth of new clothes (what he asked for), son new Xbox 360 with 1 year online subscription and new TV, daughter pyjamas and slippers each, grandkids got clothes.

Sounds like a nice set of presents, Mass.

Shawls are all the rage, PD.
I know how you feel NoM. My eldest daughter married a divorcee who had the snip and now she is forty I think she has given up hope of him having a reversal, (apart from finance it's probably too late as he had it done years ago).
She gets very broody around babies but at least she has two stepchildren she gets on well with.
I bought my Mum some Dalton type dolphin sculptures. She'd better like them, they took ages to wrap.

LMAO ... Mum has just had card from Dad:

"Do you fancy trying something from the Kama Sutra?"

"I'll have a turkey biryani"

:)
I can't repeat what he just said :-)
Question Author
It gets me down, PD. I'm getting seriously broody ...
Question Author
