Hi, I'm baffled by the plane that appears to be crashing.
If I'm right there was a programme called 'the plane crash' about crashing a plane in the Mexican desert to see the effects on passengers if a plane crashed Channel 4 I think Can you tell me what the green 3 is and the green 'spaceship ' is please
I'm pretty sure the green spaceship is red dwarf.

Can anyone help us on these?

1. Red cross on the wooden door
2. SATB in the window
3. By the cell sign
4. The clock on the wall on the left
5. The blue alien standing
6. The giant black and yellow pencil coming out of the roof in the center fold
7. The TO THE SEA sign with horns on it
8. The red holly hanging up under the window on the left?
9. Pudsey the dog?

Anyone need more help with others i'll try!
Thanks
Thanks ellie.
I think the green spaceship is the starbug from red dwarf.
Wasn't Pudsey the dog on Britain's Got talent?
The holly is The Great British Bake Off. It's made of wood, giving you co-star Paul Hollywood and there are also berries, i.e. Mary Berry the other co-star.

1. The X factor 2. The Voice (range of human voice) 3. The Bletchley Circle (Anagram of Bletchley) 4 The Hour 5 Wizards vs Aliens 6 Pointless 7. Don't know. 8. Don't Know. 9. Britain's Got Talent. I think the plane might be from Pan_Am. Who are the girl in the house on the far right and the man sat on the car? (Is he Englebert Humperdinck?)
SATB is The Choir. Jessie J, picturted in the shop to the right, is The Voice.
Engelbert Humperdinck = Eurovision Song contest

I think the plane is from The Plane Crash. The Google image is more like that plane than Pan-Am.
What's the policeman with the halo all about?

And as for the bunting....something about the jubilee? There was so many programmes about it though!

And the star constellation in the sky? I'm pretty sure its Orion but who knows?
Harbour Books anyone?
Carlisle: policeman maybe Good Cop
Hi everyone I'm new here. I have got to about 35 answers if anyone is stuck on something particular. I had thought however that the holly was hollyoaks, since it was holly and looked like it was made of oak! But I can see how great british bake off fits too. Plane is definitely the plane crash. Does anyone know if the rolls royce behind Englebert is part of that clue or separate?
Green space ship-Dani's house
Constellation flashed up in sports personality of the year.Anyone know the red cross on the door?
Got it - X factor. Stuck on the box with 3 in it?
I have two possible answers for orion. The Hour seems too obvious for the clock and I'm wondering if Harbour Books is a clue.
I have decided on answers for all clues except one - the green '3' on the roof at top right. I think it's unfair of RT to include programmes from channels that are not free-to-air, or obscure, as it's impossible to get the answers by normal viewing. For example the Valco sign is from 'Trollies' on Sky1, the white Rolls Royce is from 'A Touch of Cloth' on Sky1, and the letters in hexagons are from "All New Blockbusters" on Challenge. The 'Harbour Books' shop is not a clue - it's in the original photo which can be seen on the website printed in the left-hand margin, useful for telling what's a clue and what isn't.
Dave,

1. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the white car in the picture isn't the same one as heavily featured in A Touch of Cloth not least because the one in the programme of Cloth has the usual police 'battenburg' livery and squarer headlamps.
2. When you say the "Harbour Books" picture is on a website, which website is that?
3. The Radio Times lists and features programmes that are on the likes of Sky so why not feature them in their own competition? They couldn't be that obscure if you got them! It's like only including words in a crossword that people know.
Question Author
The constellation is Orion the hunter so I imagine it's yet another of the BBC's endless crappy serials with an unsatisfactory incomplete ending HUNTED - the lead character was called Sam Hunter. I agree the Harbour Books is in the original picture. Have all but horns/to the sea and the green 3,presuming that the cyclist is the Olympics as he'd not have a GB flash in the Tour de France. The Choir's full title is The Choir-Sing While You Work.
jocknroll,

1. Fair point about the headlamps, but as we can't see the sides of the car we don't know whether there's any chequers.
2. Like I said, the website is printed in the left hand margin, but to spell it out it's nwfineart.co.uk
3. All I'm saying is that we have to search the internet to find the answers. You say it's like only including words that people know in a crossword - I agree, and that's what I want when I'm doing a crossword. Of course I only do crosswords that are likely to include words that I know!
