Which of these would help with a cold garlic supplement echinacea or vitamin c or maybe all three together?

Thanks Brinjal didn't think of that one is that best taken all through the winter months or just while you have the cold?
I swear by Vit C, but from the natural source, oranges and lemons, throughout the winter I make sure I have a mug of hot water with a slice of fresh lemon in and some honey to taste. I havent had a cold since January 2011 :) I also eat alot of clementines and satsuams when they are at their best over the winter. It helps if you do like citrus fruits though !

That's the thing though purple I don't like fruit and hardly ever eat it
If you take something to help your cold, it will last a week
If you don't treat a cold, it will last 7 days ;-)

Surely a woman of your standing wouldn't have a 'common' cold anyway Mrs O ?
I take zinc daily. It helps boost the immune system and when I am feeling a bit unwell I take two tabs.
