Two days to closing date. Please help, as my 6 brain cells cannot cope.

1605 GMT (1 digit answer)
One hears Charles taught us about the Galapagos Islands (2 digit answer)
Jockey racing out in Northern France (4 digit answer)
Dramatically replaced by an adding machine (1)

Any help at all will be much appreciated. Have been on the bothersome thing since October ..............................

Can you provide an example of one (both clue and answer) that you have already solved? It's not clear to me just what is required.

An example of one I did manage to solve;
Inevitably follows a runny nose in adults = 206 (b inevitably follows a, runny nose anagram, gives bones in adults =206
It is the most fiendish quiz I have ever tried!
2 Must be something to do with the Giant Tortoise ("taught us") that Charles Darwin found in the Galapagos Islands - maybe 12, the number of subspecies http://en.wikipedia.o...l%C3%A1pagos_tortoise
Dramatically replaced by an adding machiine = zero

Mr Zero was replaced by an adding machine in Elmer Rice's play 'The Adding Machine'
