Is there a function on Answerbank to send answers to friend. If not how can it be done?

Hi Johnny, try the "share" button on the right hand side there is an email & a Gmail option for sending via email. You can also share to facebook, twitter, your blog etc.

Surely the whole idea of a site like this is to share the answers with everyone?

If answers start being given privately the site will eventually die.
