may be a spelling error? (may be completely wrong here), but I was going to suggest Ilkeston.
If it was an anagram of skeleton is would be ELKeston, which would include the animal name required, but there's no such place that I know of ? ? ? ?
56 could mink be in it

Hi TW you're on the right track with the anagram-Just put the second e at the end and you've got a place in Gloucestershire

Hi treetops1, thank you for that answer. I can't find it in any of my lists. Cullen Skink came up but it's a soup!!
Your right quinnie, I knew it was a soup but thought Skink was a place as well. I'm too late to tell OP now. I wish Bibble would put us out of our misery if he knows the answer.
