From other sites, I gather that a horse called "Christmas Day" ran on Boxing Day & fell, in 1966 it seems... (?)

Have to go now, but will try for confirmation later...

There also seems to be some story that it fell on Easter Monday at Ely Racecourse - not sure it there is a any real evidence to support either event having happned or not.
