I saw a little car on the roads a while ago. It looked French and very retro. But I'm sure it was Japanese. It was a new car, but looked like something out of the fifties. Sorry I'm not being terribly helpful. But I wondered if anyone had any ideas. I've been trawling the web, but no luck so far. Thank you everyone.

They're so cute aren't they. I wonder how reliable they are, mostly because they're all knocking on a bit aren't they. Why don't they crank up the production line and manufacture them again, bet they'd sell loads. Thanks again pinklady, you're a star :-)
Nissan Micra underneath so very reliable and easy parts availability.
I think they are horrid, particularly in mint green
