16 deaden A cul de sac is a deadend, but if you cut d off you get deaden = become lifeless.
22a able (fit) with dora (girl) inside (on board) ?
22a fit = able
girl = Dora
winning as in winning ways
One meaning of winning is charming/adorable/lovable. "Anna gave John a winning smile = an adorable smile." "He loved her winning ways = he loved her adorable ways."
