If I couldn't be both, I'd have to opt for happy - material riches don't always come together alongside happiness, so they say.
Rather skint but happy than rich and a miserable old beggar....

If you have good health then you are Rich. No good having all the money in the world and being too ill to enjoy it. Presently I'm Happy although none too wealthy !

I'd rather be rich.
Then I could surround myself with models, yachts and supercars.
I may not be emotionally content, but i'd be surrounded by models yachts and supercars so I wouldn't care!!

i'd rather be happy,i struggled quite a bit in my younger years and now i.m more comfortably off i'm not as happy as i used to be(maybe its my bad health)

If I was rich, I could gradually become happy.

With chalets in Verbier and Klosters, and a black Amex card ... happiness would soon be mine.

I would settle for rich at the moment. We are having an inordinately drawn out battle with the CSA and we could just pay them in order to make them go away instead of having to explain to a bonobo chimp how they have got it wrong.
