Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Please post the clue, the number of letters and any that you have.
This is needed even more than the name of the crossword.
OK, you may say Mail on Sunday 3d and leave it at that and someone may be kind enough to answer, but for those who want to help but dont have the paper it is very frustrating.

Even better, use the name of the crossword as your title because it helps other people to search for answers. "Last one" or "Almost finished" is completely irrelevant and of no use whatsoever.

Good point Rocw. A lot of the time people dont seem to search for existing answers and especially at weekends you see the same clues asked many times.

Good point grasscarp. There is a bit of trawling through when you are stuck for an answer as some posters ask crossword questions in quizzes and puzzles and vice versa! Sticking to the right categories would help as well!

You are right Oscarina but it appears that more people use "quizzes & puzzles " than "crosswords". It would help if someone could define conventions but even then many posters wouldn't adhere to them
