Thank you for asking for 28d..... If 30a is infall which my dictionary says is a junction then the answer to 28 d seems to be alod ( same as allodium) or aled ( Jones?) but its a bit tricky without the clue.

I thought IN WALL as IN ALL (sum up) blocked by W (traffic)

I'd go for 'infall', with the 'f' being the 'essence' of 'traffic'.
