Loads have, The Waltons used to on a regular basis, Highway to heaven was another one, I was watching a episode of Bones last night and that was very moving too. Oh and when Toby Wren died at the end of season 1 of Doomwatch! I was really cut up about that.
Morning chanadam

Those true life documentaries about subjects such as conjoined twins or disfigured people etc, always bring a little tear, as you wonder.........why? :0(
Match of the day, well it does when Man Utd win anyway.
Not really, but I had the news on and watched those 8 coffins of the soldiers come off the plane and couldn't stop! Every time a coffin comes back from Afghanistan I weep.
x for Tizzi :0)
anything when an animal dies also - there was one episode of all creatures great and small and the dog died but the old man still gave the vet his last cigar as a thank you - well I bawled
Any soap opera! I cry in desperation that such programmes are given decent time slots, yet programmes like David Attenborough's 'Life' are shown after 9 p.m. when they ought ot be shown earler for the benefit of children.
FRIENDS - when Chandler proposes to Monica
Like Peri, anything where an animal dies, or is ill, or is appealing, or in fact, most films with animals in them. Blow the humans!!! ;o)

Just saw this is about TV shows! Never mind.
dont know if this counts :-
everytime I watch Goodnight Mr Tom with John Thaw, the end bit when the adopted boy calls him dad forthe first time.
I seem to be crying over anything 'softie' lately, but watching a Grandmother Elephant trying to retreive her baby elephant grandchild out of a deep muddy ravine it was stuck fast in the other night, did it for me!

Same programme - watching the vets trying to save a mauled kitten (by two savage dogs) for three days, giving it their all, but it sadly died.

Same programme - A beautiful chimp brought in from the wild in a very bad way, but had the same ending as the kitten. The tears rolled for hours after!
Those elephants made me cry too Smudge!! I watched from behind a cushion when it looked like the baby was going to die before granny came to the rescue.
I'm with 4getmenot. He was so up and cheerful but his story was so sad. Couldn't believe I was blubbing the way I was that he died.
what was the programme on a few nights ago about the model who had acid in her face???
i was moved to tears at how courageous she was
