Hi Mctavish - please accept my apologies for not replying sooner - I was just "passing through" on my way to bed & saw your thread in "Unanswered Q's"...

...Click Start; Programs; Accessories; System Tools; Character Map, find the character you want, click Select, then paste it into your post.

You can also access these characters using the "Alt" key in conjunction with the numeric keypad as shown here -
