Hi, when we watch English premiership football on TV whilst in Vietnam, we see targeted adverts for the Vietnamese audience on the advertising hoardings around the pitch. However, in the UK we have never seen adverts for Vietnam and we would like to know - is this very clever technology and if so how does it work - or have the adverts always been there and we have not noticed. Please help - it is driving my husband crazy!

you just never noticed .... all the adverts over here are vietnamise.

it's actually the same technology they use to make dale winton look orange .... and bruce forsyth look as if he's still breathing.

they say by next year they'll be able to make anne robinson have a reflection ;-)

.... they just use overlays ... same technology they use on the weather forcasts .... if you look closely you can see some pure colours are transparent
Weirdly I saw ads for Vietnam on the advertising boards around the pitch at the Emirates on MOTD this morning .
