Beg your pardon, cancross - thanks!

Good morning m'lady! :-)
Good morning, Sire.
Hope all is well in your kingdom.
Lie-In... it's a rare privilege to steal a question from you! You can go to bed soon, i'm in Canada so it's not so late. I'll tidy up and turn out the lights!
Ah, m'lady, alas, I've been as low as a snake's belly today - I didn't expect you'd be around at this time of the morning, so my mood is considerably lighter! :-))

cancross - you're the second Canadian that uses Q & P (that I'm aware of) - I haven't known many people from other countries, so you've also cheered me up!

Apologies to the old mill for hijacking the thread :-)
Sorry to hear that you've been down in the dumps, your maj.
Hope that tomorrow will be a bit better for you.
I'm sure everybody on here will wish you well and hope that you will soon be rid of whatever ails you.
Also...it is the weekend tomorrow...thin of all the crosswords coming up that we will all need you help to answer.
(Sorry for hijacking the thread, old Mill)

many thanks to you all and good night.

happy to help :-))
Thank you m'lady, it's just my daft head that's wrong - too many little problems that seem to turn into bigger ones before you can say "Doh!"

You're right, I'll be better for the arrival of the weekend, the crosswords & some pleasant company here! :-))
I'm looking forward to seeing you here tomorrow, Sire.....as you say, pleasant company to help distract from daft thoughts.
Was it Shakespeare that said something about problems never being so bad that thinking made them worse ? If not Shakespeare, it was some other clever bod who had the right of it. Answerbank is a great distracter. I'm sure he said that troubles come not single spies, but in battalions and ain't that the truth!
Bet you know the quotation and the source :-))
I guess we better stop hogging old mill's thread soon.
So I'll say good night and see you tomorrow.
:-))
Again, thank you for your wise & kind words, m'ladyalex - good night, sleep well & I'll see you round the site :-)) x
