Me and several other qualified friends want to start our own in home computer repair company in our local area, their is a demand so we know their is business their! however we are not sure if their are any laws about in home visiting? do we need to be CRB checked or certified in some way to visit peoples houses for business? any help would be very much appreciated on this topic, thanks in advance

You would be well advised to take out some sort of insurance policy so that if you damage anything in the houses you visit you will be covered,also if you damage the computer you are supposed to be fixing.I'm not insinuating that you are a bunch of clumsy idiots by this,just pointing out that it's best to be safe. I have no idea about the CRB checks though.
Before you all give up your well paid jobs as qualified people, why not build up the business initially in your spare time. Then as success follows, each of you can give up your jobs, as your full time is needed on the business.
That way if things don�t work out, you won�t have to find another job.

Be professional in every aspect of the business � incorrect use of the word �their� once is forgivable, but not 4 times.
