K, squarebear and cryptor - Thanks for your answers re ST 4250. The clue was "Pack heading for Ireland calls for Scots porridge" (7) - the .ie internet domain is clearly it. Much appreciated.

Yep that sounds like it then. Crowd+ie and crowdie is a Scottish food I believe.

I'm not sure if i'm comfortable with this method of clueing countries by their internet domains,Being old (and old fashioned) I stick to the abbreviations recognised by Chambers.

I suppose I will have to move with the times!
...except that Chambers now lists all the domain suffixes at the back - so I guess they're fair game?
