7d is presumably icefloe but to my mind ice floe is two words or hyphenated - any thoughts on this. 17d Shy Eva embarrased in Jewish school is presumably Yeshiva but where has the 'i' come from?

In can = i, but the order would be wrong in this particular clue
I agree icefloe is usually two words or hyphenated. In fact it's also an answer to this weeks Mephisto (also in the Sunday Times) puzzle and the clue states two words!

I believe it must be the correct answer, though.

JD
I agree with JD and I also think that 17d Should have read 'Shy Eva I ' embarrassed in Jewish school!

Many thanks all. Couple of annoying mistakes in the clues that had me scratching my head for a while!
