I am stuck for an answer to 7 down in the General Knowledge Crossword in the Weekend section of Saturday's Daily Telegraph. Any help would be appreciated.

Don't know that one but 7up is lemonade.
Fabric, coated with a plastic material used to protect a table surface(8,5). _m _ l___n/cloth.
c'mon then it's Monday what's the answer, I could only think of oilcloth
I wonder if it might be 'emulsion'? Shove 'emulsion table cloth' into google, and there are a few links which may or may not confirm this!

The answer is " AMERICAN CLOTH " which is apparently what we in Britain know as oilcloth.
