Hi,

I have recently had new white tiles fitted in my bathroom but i can clearly see shadows from the adhesive behind them.

They have been up for over 24 hours.

Will this clear or are the tiles defective?

Thanks

are they really thin tiles?
I can't see any way you would see a shadow of adhesive behind a tile as the backs are normally opaque or a light brown and adhesive normally dries white anyway. I think it more to do with the surface of the tile, or the way the light is reflecting on it. Have they been grouted yet and it is possibly dry grout on the front face. If it is, wipe with the rough side of a foam pan scrubber and you'll feel when the grout has gone, then wipe with a towel. When dry they should be totally clean. If you still see marks, repeat.
