Many thanks, all! A good workout here except for the Unclueds which look a bit tricky. I’m seeking confirmation for the following to see if I can crack the quotation. Many thanks in advance !

40a  AND

2d    DE?R?O?AR?

9d    ?O?B?AU?I?U?      ( TOO BEAUTIFUL )

13d   ?O?M?NY?O?E?   ( TOO MANY WOMEN )

21d    ?OR?U?E?RS

37d     MUC?                   ( MUCH )

Thanks, Matakari.  Your Women looks to be the only error.

Thanks, NACW, "women" is incorrect. I've got it now and it's all finished for Mr Magoo. I'll have a look  at the Crossword centre offering for this month.

Mr Magoo is always tough. I've got one answer on my first read through. I might be back to ask for hints. 😁

Matakari, I knew Women was wrong, I just meant nothing else leapt out!

Cloverjo, this  one was good fun if a little harder than usual.

38A It's colorful for Polynesians have the lead, cycling (5) ?AR??

Piffpoff, I can't come up with a hint - Pareu, a Polynesian garment. It comes from Are Up, have the lead, with the P cycyling, moving to the front.

Wow. Never would have figured it out. Thanks. Just have to get the quote to finish.

PiffPoff, glad I could help.
