I’ve got a soup maker which takes 21 minutes to make delicious soups where I used to boil a bacon joint or even the bones then add lentils and veg
Then there’s the washing machine where I open a door ,throw the clothes in ,turn a dial and off it goes,whearas I used a twin tub which took all morning to do my washing
A dishwasher, rinse and set away , whereas it was filling a dish/ sink after a dinner especially to do the washing up
A remote control? You stay in your easy chair , point it at the TV and change programmes
The internet? I can speak to someone in Canada or Australia and even see them

Can you think of any other items that’s made our lives so much easier?

And reading glasses. Without them you couldn't thread that needle ^ and much more.

Now I think about, men have made all these handy things for the ladies so you can lollop about all day.
But we haven't done anything for ourselves.
