Harry is attempting to remove some of the content of his ghost-written memoir due to be published later this year because it may be regarded as 'insensitive'. However, since the manuscript has already been signed off he may be too late.

According to The Telegraph, the Duke of Sussex ‘fears being vilified’ in the wake of the Queen’s death.

Shocked at the extent of the nation's reaction to the queen's death - and at the warm reception his father and Camilla have received as the new king and queen consort - and now thinking twice about the further damage his revelations may cause to his and his wife's ever-dwindling popularity?

I don't believe Harry has ever been in any doubt as to how much affection the nation had for the late Queen, Naomi. So i doubt he was "shocked".
The fact that he is now trying to make changes just shows there is some pretty bad stuff in there that he has written.
I hope it is too late to make changes so we can see what he really thinks.
Somebody will leak the first draft no doubt…..and become very rich overnight.
Have you put your order in to the publishers ,for your advance copy of the book Naomi ?
If the publisher is advancing $20m they are going to want some new unknown "juicy bits". They've got to shift a lot of books to make any money. A huge amount is already known about the Royal Family so for that kind of dosh the publisher is going to want some pretty earth shattering revelations. Perhaps he's thinking twice about putting it out there.
Not a book I would ever consider reading. Just not interested in what either of them have to say.
Anyway , can't the firm just get their Mr Fixer, to pick the phone up , and 'have a word' in the ear of the publishers

Bearing in mind that he and Meghan have portrayed themselves as victims, Ken, I imagine they assumed they've been enlightening the population. I think he was gobsmacked to discover that all of that has had no impact - especially with regard to his father and Camilla.

So , you won't be commenting on here at all about the contents , when it comes out

I won't be buying it, Bazile.
Bailey. No I won't.
Bazile - predictive text!

Oh Dear! How Sad! Never Mind!

The sooner this little tyke withdraws permanently to La-La Land or wherever he and his ghastly wife choose to hole up, and stops bothering to visit the UK, the better. Quite why anybody would be interested in his tittle-tattle is anybody's guess. Personally I wouldn't read anything he (or his ghostwriter) wrote even if I was paid to do so.
Naomi, I don't think anyone will need to buy it, the papers will give us all the salacious bits as soon as it's published!
His late dash to Balmoral cost him a chartered flight and this book could cost him what money cannot buy.

The publishers want the book out for Thanksgiving Day - 24th November. He probably must now be wishing he had said nicer things about his father and step mother as Royal titles are still considered for his children.

It is thought that part of the book relates to him not wanting Camilla to become Queen Consort upon HM's death. Well, he didn't see that coming and Camilla is so titled now.

I expect the Americans will lap up the book anyway.
Question Author
zebo, I think you're right.
Not a book I would buy or borrow because it will be all over the papers anyway as Zebo said.
I think Harry isn't the only one who is worried about this book coming out in it's original form, I think Charles and Camilla will be worried too.
I don't understand how anybody could be shocked at the reaction to the death of the queen. Even if you don't like, or agree, with the monarchy it should have been obvious that when she died there would be a huge reaction. A person who had been head of state for all of most people's lives isn't going to have no reaction.
Poor Harry. He has dug his own hole and keeps digging.
Question Author
I wasn't surprised at the reaction to her death, but I must admit, cashier, I was amazed that people were queuing for up to 24 hours to file past her coffin. I really didn't expect that - and I can't imagine Harry did either.
