I can't sleep so I got up to play with my computer. I can't take anything to help me sleep as I have a hospital appointment in the afternoon that I want to be awake for.

I hope that the kids are well and behaving themselves.

I had better attempt to go to get some sleep. I hate doctor and hospital appointments. I seem to be going through a period of appointments with consultants on a weekly basis. I think that the NHS is waking up after lockdown.

Anne - is ear wax removing like pimple popping or picking out ingrown hairs? They are yucky and addictive!

The hospital visit was okay, they were busy but all the nurses and doctors are nice and friendly. I have my diabetic eye screening on Monday afternoon - which usually only takes a short time.

I have realised that there is no way that I could have been a nurse or any sort of medic, it is hard work and they manage to stay cheerful for most of the day. At least as a civil servant, nobody expected service with a smile.
