Sorry Mamy - I didn't watch it at all because of his accent - mind you what I can hear of it but whatever it does to my hearing aid - dooooooon't likkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk it at all. That's the way it sounds to me.

Similar problem with that myself, Mamya. However I understand the language of Lancs very well.

I think he has a voice that grates but not because of his accent. I finds voices very important. I tend to judge people on their voices, which really isn't fair of me. I find him very loud and over the top. And I can't watch Question of Sport any more.

I have to say I also couldn’t stand him at all until I saw him do the Top Gear special edition episode dedicated to Eddie Kidd, and that really got me. He was so emotional over it and there is no way he was putting it on. And then last week I think he was in a documentary with his wife, about how all three of their children have autism, and how he coped with it.

He wears his heart on his sleeve, from all accounts he's a very generous and loving chap - he'll do for me.
