Good Morning Early Birds

morning all, its warm here and i can't get back to sleep. I hope that you are all well and have a good day whatever you may have planned, or not.

i might pop up to the book shop later, it's a little bit of a walk, but should be ok, then perhaps an alfresco lunch. The weather forecast is for 26 which is hot. I hope it continues, though i know some don't like this weather, but i love it. Slap on the sun cream and away we go.

Morning Emmie. Can’t sleep as had an awful nightmare, and then when I woke up it was too humid so I’ve come into spare room with cold drink and put fan on x

it is humid, i have been awake since 3.45 and decided that it was better to simply get up and come into the living room, than lie in bed unable to get back to sleep.

Exactly - I was just laying there tossing and turning which was waking mr smow up. Meant to be a hot one here too! I love the heat

i have had a coffee which i guess makes me more awake, by 9am i will likely get sleepy, isn't that a nuisance, but i can at least have 40 winks later in the day if needs be. I like this weather, we have waited long enough for spring/summer, now its here make the most of it.

is he still training his new staff.

Yes he is Emmie, he has 9 now, so half the day is spent with him either on Zoom meetings or packing up new laptops/ head fone S etc to send to them, or receiving new stock. Yesterday the DHL guy said he spends more time at our house than his lol!

are they based in an office, or is everyone working from home.

No everyone’s having to work remotely still - luckily he says they’re all doing a really good job. Trouble is the better they do, the more work they create and so he is practically living upstairs in his office lol. He even has a fridge up there! Lol

at least he's managing to keep going, lots of people have crashed since last year.

Yes our roof is a loft conversion so the whole top floor is an office - it’s like PC world up there lol! He’s always run his business from home and then gone out to businesses contracting/ problem solving, so could be on say a 6 month contract with a firm in London problem solving going into their office every day but lockdown put pay to that for the last year etc

at least you get to see him, some relationships don't survive because they rarely get to see each other.

Well he appears for dinner lol! But I know what you mean. He gets fed and watered all day lol

that's good smow, when Mr Em was around we saw each three or four times a week in London, then most weekends away at his.

Whereabouts in London? (Is nobody else up yet??)

between Russell Square and Kings Cross, so im very central, he had a place out in Hertfordshire.

Ohhhh so you never actually lived together permanently?
I’m about 4 miles from Croydon but in a quieter area and in laws are Purley
