Tiggs, we see lots of photos of the Cambridge children on their birthdays and at other times, it makes us feel we almost know them. William and Kate keep us updated with things the children do and say. We don't really know anything about Archie even though he is the son of Prince Harry so I'm sorry, but I can't join in with birthday wishes just because you think he's cute. He is almost like a complete stranger to us.

in all fairness, they are ALL like complete strangers to us. Knowing that charlotte has started school, or that loius has started nursery does not make me feel i know them any more than ar. Do they tell us stuff about them and what they think/do?

Not a very nice post bednobs, I'm sure you wouldn't want one of your children referred to like that. Lady Louise was born with an eye condition called esotropia which was operated on, unsuccessfully, when she was 18 months old.

I like the royals but I couldn't give two hoots about their birthdays or their first day at school/nursery. My kids are far more important to me.

bednobs, I have seen loads of pictures of the Cambridge children and would recognise any of them in a photo , so not complete strangers. I've seen photos of them going to school, on holiday, with other members of the RF and lots more. I've no idea what Archie looks like or anything that he has ever done so to me, he is a complete stranger.
