This is utterly horrendous. Please let the poor little soul survive.
Why can only be answered by the person who did it!

I hope he pulls through.
Dear goodness, how awful.
Horrendous, just like the little boy pushed under a train in Germany. Can't imagine the mind of someone who does this.
Such cruelty from someone so young to do something like that to a young child. There really are some sick souls about.
What evil lurks in such young minds.
Can't bear to think what his mother is going through, too horrific to contemplate. Please let him survive yes.
I couldn't believe this when I heard about it.

Fingers crossed the little lad pulls through.

It's hard to believe isn't it, just so shocking. I can't find any updates on his condition so I expect it will be tomorrow now. I hope the little chap makes it through the night and wish his mother the strength to cope with whatever she has to face.
Words fail me.
How dreadful, I hope the poor lad will be ok.
Someone must have seen something. This is very bad indeed.

Sharon you haven't read the report have you? The crowd surrounded the young man who did it and he was arrested.
The boy is "critical" which means he may not live.
// The boy is "critical" which means he may not live.//
erm yeah - ish

comfortable means he is in hospital - critical is in and ill
On the ITU you must be critical - else there is something amiss in the EMpire.

I scored a front page with - - Very Sick Indeed - as I did not realise that there were two words ( use one only ) and NOTHING else !

[ oh just to add as an amusing aside - I have a fren' on the Septic 6 Bundle ( death rate 20% give or take a wino) and the ward staff have decided that the visiting hours ( you know 10 - 11 30 etc) are confidential under the new data legislation. Gor blimey luv !
This is horrendous. I could hardly believe what I was reading.
Aside from self defence or in the midst of war, i could never imagine taking (or attempting to take) another person's life. So random acts, such as this one appears to be, just beggar belief. So pleased to hear that the youngster has survived the night and i sincerely hope he recovers.
Always been so, that some minds fail to work adequately. All need to be on guard at all times.

One wants not just survival for the victim but healed back to health, no lifelong affects.

He's now critical but stable, he's a little fighter. Yes OG, it would be wonderful if he could get back to how he was before this happened.
A little more information this morning in the DM from his mother who says she was aware of this chap who seemed to be following them. He actually snatched the child out of her arms. Surely he can't be right in the head.
Poor little mite and the mother must be having nightmares.

Savages like this need locking away for good. The problem is, as we have seen with poor James Bulger's killers they are let out.

Apparently he blames the SS. Can't see how they can be blamed for such savagery.

At least one punter got to mash his mush a bit.
LB //Surely he can't be right in the head.//

I think that has to be a given as any sane, law-abiding person would never contemplate such a shocking act.

There will be much to be revealed about the culprit's background and mental state in the time ahead.
