Wet and windy here in Norfolk too, although not a fierce as I was expecting it to be .... yet anyway.

We're busy packing for holiday next week, yeh!

Hi Maydup, where are you off to, anywhere nice?
Where ever hope you enjoy it.
It's quite rough here as well. I`m off to the airport for hols in a while and think I might have to wear my plastic mac (I`ll never live it down) but I can't pull a suitcase and wheelybag and hold an umbrella at the same time.
Dour here too - have a good holiday Maydup and 237.
Question Author
Just keep your head down 237, hopefully no one will recognise you :-)
Fairly heavy gusts here with drizzle and expecting to increase later today. S .W. London/Surrey
Miserable here as well Tashi, not so far away from you. Couldn't see where I was going when walking the mutt as hair blowing across my face. Unless it improves I don't think I'll venture out again today. I expect one or other of you will be out with the dogs again today?
Thank you mamya. Think I might leg it now while I can still get away without a plastic mac as it looks like it`ll rain more after 1500

Hi LB, that will be our Hero, he does it so selflessly, but only when it is needed.

LOL Tashi n Retro. It has to be done whether we feel like it or not. There is no peace until mine has been out. Does help if the sun's shining though.

Well, that has dropped him in it, good and proper, innit?
Ooops. Me and my big mouff.
I know LB. We used to have a faithful Labrador who was only really happy when he either found a body of water to leap into or he could take us out for walkies when it was chukking it down. I swear he laughed when he got as close as possible to us and shook the water out of his coat. :-)
Oh gawd retro, reminds me of a Springer we used to have that would rather be in water than anywhere else and I don't mean in the bath (Oh No, never the bath)!
Luckily my little old chap isn't interested in water but he was filthy from just walking today. I have to pick him up to put him in the car as he can't manage it himself anymore so I ended up as filthy as he was. My halo is glowing today.
:-)
We used to have a big old Dobie/GSD cross,r as he aged his back end got a bit weak so we just used to give him a helping hand, literally, as to in and out of the car.
Pretty blustery at the airport. Just saw the Singapore airlines A380 abort landing
Yep Balders
Our much beloved family friend,Oscar, had the worst hip displacia the Vetinarian had ever seen. That is why I decided he needed a big sleep. I wept more tears than my two lads as we cuddled him on way to doggie bliss. More tears, in fact, than when my Mum,Dad and sister died.
