Friday. It was blowing an 'ooligan during the night, the back garden looks like a bomb site, a lot of tidying up to do when it gets light. Still raining now, but the wind has died down. So that's a fair bit of the day taken care of.Such is life.

Still limping a wee bit, but it's improving slowly. Thanks for asking. :o}
Morning boaty,TheLand. Very windy on the Island as well. Have yet to assess any damage. I once lost a shed roof, never to be seen or heard from again. Boatman how’s the hip now?

Question Author
Morning David. The wind has died down a lot now, I hope that's the end of it. I don't know if there is any other damage as yet.

How are you this morning?
Fine thank you. I have hip problems like you, so know well the pain to be endured.
Question Author
You have my sympathy on that. Mine is improving by the day. I'm doing a wing walk next year! :o}
Quite mad.......
Off for now. Take it easy...
Question Author
I will. Have a good day. :o}
Good morning Boaty and Theland.

As foreshadowed yesterday, the local surgery couldn't extract OH's blood sample so have had to re-book at the hospital. We'll know better next time. Even though she has an extremely high pain threshold, she did suffer and has been left badly bruised poor thing.
Question Author
Morning arrods. That's not at all good.
That is strange not being able to take bloods.
Had many. Most painful was an arterial blood sample in hospital. Deep and very sore.

Just sitting here breathless. Had my Ventolin nebuliser, Spiriva, Seretide and Salamol inhalers, and still feeling distressed. Usually settles down after a while. I hope!
Question Author
Sorry to see that TL. I hope it improves for you.

Until she retired, we had a nurse at our surgery that took blood samples and I didn't even feel the needle go in! She was a one off. I was sad when she retired, but I did get a hug and a lovely kiss from her.
Apparently, that stormy night was called, "Storm Bronagh."
(Who came up with that name?)
Question Author
It's an Irish name.
So let's blame the Irish eh? It's war I tell yer!
Question Author
A girl's name.
