They seem pretty confident they have got the right man. Good job they didn't shoot and kill the first suspect which is what some may have understandably wanted at the time. On balance I think it's better that the ('suspected') killer is dead rather than giving him the chance to get more publicity.
He pulled a gun and shot and wounded an Italian officer. Seems a perfectly appropriate response. I think it was only afterwards they realised who he was.
I would have liked this man to have been caught alive, not for some kind of "justice" but because he may have had other info that would been of some use to the authorities, such as other pending attacks.
They interviewd his Mum on the news this morning & I feel for her, I'm glad for the persons that have been killed / Wounded in Berlin this is a tragic justified end to a murderer. IS Up yours.
Good job the 'routine stop' happened in a city where the Police are armed, if it had been a UK city chances are we'd have dead or wounded cops and the suspect still at large...
