More Rain !

Just heard on the Today Program that due to the massive blizzard on the east coast of the States, we can expect very heavy rainfall later this week.

Will we notice the difference I am thinking ?

I prefer cold and frost in winter (and some snow for my son who hasn't seen it yet!), BUT am sick to death of all this rain - hate mild, wet winters !!

There is something about this mild air that does not feel right
Somehow it feels unclean
But then I do like the really cold crisp days

A mild Winter here also so far in the Toronto area. No snow to speak of; a couple of days of -15 temps; and a fair amount of rain. This afternoon it's going up to +5!...I like it.

Quite often on here I jokingly refer to my living in the "Frozen North". In reality, I live further south than any of you in the UK; I'm on the same latitude as Marseilles: 43 degrees North.
