Why aren't the lorries with doors, locke,d to stop these migrants getting inside and hitching a free ride onto this country?

I hadn't given it much thought til recently but watching the news where hoards of people are getting into the open doors, til now.

Cupoftee, the rear doors of trailer are locked, these people Seal & that's how the entre, the problem in not with the Driver who at times gets threatened by these people who are desperate to get into the " Hand Out UK" this is where the problem starts, each & every UK Government has not got the balls to say enough is enough, the freebies, housing has stopped & Publicise globally, the French are not doing their duties right & causing Ill feelings not only with their own people for allowing these people to treat their Dock's are like a tip, the French should gather these people put them on a ship & take them back to where they came from, this Government & previous Governments needs to address the problem that each & every one has caused, until then the problem with exist.

The Govt have allocated £7m to build a 1.2 mile fence to keep migrants away from the railhead and trucks.

I've just been watching the BBC 6am news regards Calais, It's just unbelievable that these people are getting away with this & the French are just standing by & not addressing a very serious Breach of Security Problem.

The migrants don't land in France. They should be stopped in the country of arrival, but they can't cope, so just let them walk free.

They are going to other EU countries, and the 3000 or so who head for Calais represent a tiny percentage of the overall human wave.

ven..indeed ,afraid the NIMBY response prevails and migrants are shooed along..Angela Merkel needs to call an EEC summit to talk this problem out and put appropriate measures in place....UN involvement ?

Methyl - we have a nice house for sale in France, very cheap because we don't want the worry of the upkeep at a distance. Good neighbours, lovely little town. :)

Jourdain, I'm sure the French could do far more than what they are doing, they want to start using tear gas / water canons to get rid of these people. the revenue the haulage Company's are loosing, the food that is good to waste must be in the Millions.

I quite agree TWR! My post was a 'tongue-in-cheek' to methyl. I am very surprised that the French haven't brought in the CRS (Compagnie Republican de Securite) - they are a sort of riot police and very hard men.

I must admire the towns folk for holding their patience with these people, especially when the are crping in the woods & making the area look like a war torn Area, they are living like pigs.
