Depends on 2. dn if the second letter is M or R
I thought of ROOMS but think there must be another word in the clue to indicate reversal of MOORS
Any letters for 2d?
Heaths are UP for rent?
ff - 'rooms' isn't a simple reversal of 'moors' (which would be 'sroom')
2d: ambuscade - would fit but is not a common word

I guess it must have been the right clue- but I can't see the wordplay
Does anyone know whether this was confirmed in this paper as ROOMS? Thanks
