Regarding "CHARGE". I can see how the answer fits with the electrical quantity, but don't understand the cleaner bit of the clue! Can someone please explain the logic?

Ah, sorry. I see an explanation was posted the same time I typed my enquiry!
Another word for a domestic cleaner is a CHAR (woman/man/person)
Char(lady) a cleaner.
