Saturday. Wet. A bit of breeze, so no wildlife report this morning. Still not seen foxy. Tiggy was in and saw off the fat trimmings from the sirloin steak I had yesterday. He was on it like a missile! He didn't hang about long, but he did take a bit of it away with him, so Mrs. tiggy is OK.

It's going to be wet weather gear for today's charter. My crewman, who live at the bottom of the hill, will be picking me up at 0945. Got a couple of jobs to do on the boat as well as all the usual checks. The things you do for a 'free' lunch!

Have a happy day everyone.

Morning jan xxx How are you this morning my lovely? :o}
I ache all over for some reason. Al, my poor old joints are creaking. Ah well, can't be helped. Got Zumba this morning, then meeting a friend for coffee. It's Gay Pride here this weekend so the town will be heaving with vistors. I think I'll avoid it all.
Boaty, it's a real worry about Foxy isn't it? You don't think he's maybe been in and maybe you just missed his visit?
Question Author
I hope you don't overdo it a zumba jan. Your body it telling you to ease up a bit!

No, I haven't missed foxy, his supper it still there. None of the neighbours have seen him either. The jackdaws will see off his supper.
hi wbm
n jan x
Yes boaty, I really should ease up a bit. I enjoy all the exercise though. I KNOW I;m an idiot. I'm still waiting to hear from the charity re the 13 miles I did in June. They're still collecting in all the monies. I'll let you know final figure when I know.
I hope there are no other traps around in your area boaty. Poor old foxy. I hope he's ok.
I'd better go now and get ready go out. Take care. Enjoy your charter. It's been raining here and more forecast .

Morning, boaty. Morning all.

It was bucketing down in the night. I'm glad we didn't knock the wall out when the conservatory went in as it's a deafening clatter on the (plastic) roof. They don't tell you -that- in the brochure!

Question Author
I've just been out to the kitchen to make a coffee. The jackdaws are seeing off foxy's supper.

The wet weather gear is out and ready. I'm going to need it.

Morning all! Nice & cool in Manchester! Coming round with a coffee :0)
Morning peeps ... yawn... grey scale 4 here and about to piddle it down.
I hope foxy is ok - he may have found a Mrs Foxy and moved into her territory for a bit (3-6 days, once a year apparently, probably the reason for his absence)

going to the city today for a quick wander then nothing else much planned today for a change - stocking and lace laundry mainly - but sure something will come up later ;o)
