Fine thanks ttfn.dad started his radiotherapy yesterday...next three weeks every day except weekends....so it will be a little fraught till it's done....but fingers crossed it will be worth it..

Sir A....I had 5 years caring full time for FIL with Alzheimer's...know what you're going through...hard thankless task...constant uphill struggle and exhausting....you have my utmost respect and empathy / sympathy...x

Sir A....it was war documentaries with me..he was an old desert rat..had been at torbruk and el alemein...feel like I was there myself the number of times I watched it !

There is a limit when people like me become bitter and horrid. I don't want to subject anyone to that. Basically..............do you hear that? Neither do I. My sister is in bed and therefore not talking and shouting and banging cupboards and drawers incessantly, not thudding around like an elephant and shouting at her dog...........and breathe.............
