could you repost the picture? The image is too dark to see- playing around with it makes it possibly a Hawfinch but need a decent picture.

Sorry very bad picture, only one ive got, its very elusive, sits in the garden for ages until you go to get the camera then its straight out of there, quite big though, about the size of a large pigeon, took a look at the hawfinch but its not that, thanks burnal

had another play with the picture- is it longish-tailed, almost a pinky-brown? Looks like a jay- has it got blue markings on the wings? Tail black and white? Then definitely a jay.
