Stuck on two pairs. 8 down. Clue: Comparatively ill-advised food cooked in fat? (6). I have: R?S??? Could it be RASHER? 13 across. Clue: Rock of Gibraltar primarily covered by good course on Spain (6). I have: ?R?N?? The fifth letter of 8 down is the same as the last letter of 13 across.

21 down. Clue: Block knocked up with a spruce (6). I have: D?P??? (dapper?) 29 across. Clue: Spread say, with jam all over(5). I have: M?R??(marge? -spread) but don't know why. The fifthe letter of 21 down is the same as the last letter of 13 across. Help please.
