Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

But it seems you gave the clue for 5d .
What's the clue for 5a then please?

That's the only word I could think of, too; but why?

I'd need to know what the correct clue is

Pioneer=Colonist and also a space probe to Jupiter

But how does 'pioneer' fit with the clue? I've been struggling with this for the last couple of hours, could it be a misprint?

Not being deliberately obtuse, but still cannot get why "pioneer" is the answer to clue "collect dull rug". Help!

5d Collect is a prayer and mat is dull which together make a rug

It isn't the answer to collect dull rug is prayer mat(prayer is a collect mat is dull)

Prayer mat is the answer to "Collect dull rug"
Pioneer is the answer to "colonist, one taking part in landing (7)"

The clue in the DT paper edition is as described by Pentire not as described by Nicat. An obvious misprint, tut tut DT Crossword editor.

Factor 30 : correct clue was given. Trying to establish why "pioneer" is the answer. Seems I'm not the only one.

So in the paper edition what was the clue to 5d and to 5a. Was it the same clue?

Correct clue was given but not correct clue number which has caused the confusion.Clue given refers to 5 down.
