Does only one member of the family have to pass the exam? when we lived in Canada we applied for citizenship and every member of the family over the age of 16 had to sit the citizenship exam - and the same as in UK the canadians used to laugh cos most of them did'nt know the answers either.
Kristal, either way they are exactly the same questions in content and form as real ones, bad as that may seem; they are probably taken from past tests. There are books on sale which contain sample questions from real tests, with answers, to help those studying for the test, and the Channel 4 ones are just like those questions.
Native citizens don't need to know more than a small bit of the "syllabus";I can't see why the questions aren't simply about the rights and liberties we take for granted, but which foreigners might not recognise from their previous countries. Knowing what percentage of the UK population is in Scotland, or how many Bank Holidays there are, is irrelevant.
