Turning off predictive text.

Can anyone tell me how to not have predictive text on the screen of the Xperia mini pro mobile as I wish to never use it and have disable permanently.
Is this possible? Many thanks.

It must be in your text settings somewhere - I agree with you, predictive text drives me mad.

Open a blank text and then in the top right hand corner there is a symbol (mine say Eng with a pencil by it), click on this. The top option should then say 'Quick Text' and you need to make sure there isn't a tick next to it. The symbol should then change to Eng with a keyboard next to it.

Oops, think you actually have to tick 'Multitap' (second option) to get the Quick Text off.
